Replace

  • Ctrl-F7
    Replace dialog allows you to replace any string through the text of the database. Enter the text that you want to search for. You can press the down-arrow button for last search requests. Enter text that you want to replace the found text with. You can press the down-arrow button for last replaced strings.

  • By field
    CDBF can replace a string on all databases or on a specified field.

  • Ignore case
    Check this option if you want case-sensitive searching.

  • Down
    Check this option if you want to search downward from the current position.

  • Up
    Check this option if you want to search upward from the current position.

  • All
    Check this option if you want to search downward from the beginning of database.

  • Advanced
    This button allows you to define additional parameters.
    • Similar symbols.
      CDBF will consider that these symbols are equal.
    • Search in memo fields.
      CDBF will search a substring in memo fields too.
    • Numeric fields.
      You can search numeric values as a substring or an exact value.
